Mapes Formula & Peruvian Guano Co. was located at 239 Sate Street. C.H. Talcott & Co., wholesale dealers in chemicals, drugs, paints, oils, acids, and glass had offices at 273-279 Asylum Street and a warehouse at 239 State Street. Bonner-Preston Co. were wholesale and retail dealers in artists' materials, photographic supplies, paints, oil and glass.
