DescriptionBrick commercial buildings line a city street. Many businesses have awnings. Two striped barber poles are on the second story of the building at the corner. Signs read: "LUX, BON & LUX / JEWELERS" "LUX, BOND & LUX. HARVEY & LEWIS. WEEK'S CIGAR STORE." "DR. COOKE / TRUSS CO." "THE GOLDENBLUM MILLINERY CO." "DEVELOPING PRINTING..." "MORAN'S" "WISE SMITH & CO." Lettering on a watertower on a rooftop also reads: "WISE / SMITH / & CO." Automobiles and a horse-drawn wagon are parked beside the curb. Men and women walk on the sidewalks. The man at the far left, holding a newspaper, appears to be African-American. A fire hydrant, utility poles, and street lights are also on the sidewalks. Trolley tracks are in the paved street. A trolley is in the distance. Puddles, presumably from recent rain, are in the gutter at the right.
