DescriptionThree men and two women in eighteenth-century costume gather around a document on a table. The men and one woman wear wigs. The other woman appears to be dressed as a maid. One man has a mustache. One man is seated in an upholstered chair and wears a sword. The woman at the left wears white plumes or feathers in her hair and a long pearl necklace. A rug is on the floor and a theater curtain is in the background.
