NotesSubject Note: On June 20, 1912, the Hartford Courant reported that the Street Board had ordered the Phoenix Bank to remove the stone lions in front of its building "within the week" because they were encroaching on the legally established street line on Main Street. This photograph appeared in the paper on July 16th.Status
