DescriptionFour-story stone second empire building with a mansard roof with a cast iron railing, a rusticated basement and striped awnings at the windows. Carved lettering over the door reads: "Hartford Fire Insurance Co." Signs on windows read: "Continental / Life / Insurance / Co." "Orient Ins. Co." Signs on brick and frame commercial buildings at the left read: "WL. & H.E. Pitkin / Manufacturers of / Silverware" "M.F. Clark / Slate Roofer and Wholesale Retail Dealer / in all Kinds of Roofing SlateÂ… / Slate MantelsÂ…" "Boots and Shoes." A street sign on the corner of the sidewalk reads: "Pearl St." "Ann St." Trolley tracks are in the dirt street.
