DescriptionFive-story stone building with an elaborate cornice, round arches over the windows and carved and molded decorative panels. Most windows have striped awnings. Awnings over ground floor shops have signs that read: "Jas. Duggan & Co." and "Duggan Rheumatic Elixir." A sign over a door at the far left reads: "Green & Bauer." An automobile is parked beside the sidewalk. Men stand in the shadows.
NotesDate Note: The photograph appeared in the Hartford Courant October 6 1908.

Subject Note: James Duggan & Co., druggists, were located at 254 Asylum. Green & Bauer at 38 Ann Street were X-ray manufacturers. Henry Green was the proprietor.
