DescriptionSeven-story second empire style building with a mansard roof decorated with American flags, bunting, and streamers. A large star has electric light bulbs on it. Most of the windows have striped awnings. Signs on the storefront at the far right read: "Postal Telegram - Cable Company" "Postal Telegraph / Commercial Cables." A wagon drawn by a white horse has a sign that reads: "Adams / Express / Company." A bicycle is nearby. Other horse-drawn vehicles and a trolley are on the street. Men and women, some blurred from movement, are on the sidewalk. A clock on the corner reads 9:30.
