Some of the people wear caps, hats or bonnets. One woman wears a pinafore. Two women wear aprons. One wears a quilted petticoat as a skirt. One woman wears eyeglasses. One woman holds a basket. A man at far right is dressed as a Native American. Another man has a false beard. Inscribed on back: "Jennie P. Allyn / East Windsor Dec. 21st 1888." Another copy of the photograph is inscribed: "Mrs. Jarley's Wax Works."
