NotesSubject Note: Hartford celebrated the 300th anniversary of the founding of Connecticut with a parade on October 12, 1935. It included 20,000 marchers, 105 floats, twelve large divisions, thirty bands, over 500 separate organizations and 20 national groups. It was watched by 400,000 people and took three hours to pass by.
