DescriptionInterior of an office with four men sitting at desks. A fifth man is in an adjoining office in the background. All the men wear suits and have beards or mustaches. One man reads a sheet of paper. Another appears to be writing. Papers, forms, books, ledgers and what appears to be a calculating machine are on the desks. One man sits in a swivel chair. A basket at the far left appears to be used as a wastebasket. Louvered shutters are at the windows. Prints and a calendar hang near the shutters. What appear to be gaslight fixtures protrude from the wall. A chandelier hangs from the ceiling. An American flage is in the far corner. Nearby is a photograph of the Soldiers and Sailors Arch in Bushnell Park.
