DescriptionDrawing of Church Street in downtown Hartford, Connecticut, with the former Sheraton Hotel (subsequently the Hilton) at the end of the street. On the right is the Federal Cafe in Union Place, with 417 and 427 Church Street next to it. On the far left is the corner of 450 Church, next to the William R. Cotter Federal Building. In front of the Sheraton stand the existing Church Street parking garage and a cluster of buildings that no longer exist. Pedestrian traffic and parked automobiles are depicted.
