DescriptionMan's shirt of white cotton with a straight band collar and tucked bib front. The shoulder line is dropped. The center front placket opening extends for the length of the bib (about 16 1/2 inches) and fastens with four mother of pearl buttons. The sleeves are gathered into the shoulder; a gusset under each sleeve provides ease. The sleeves are gathered into a 2 5/8-inch-wide cuff, which fastens with a single button. The shoulders of the shirt are reinforced wth a lining that covers the width from the sleeve to the edge of the bib, and extends below the level of the gusset. The back of the shirt is gathered into the neckline. The side seams are open for about eleven inches, with the top of the vent gusseted and reinforced. The shirt is very finely stitched.
