DescriptionMen work on ladders and scaffolding appear to demolishing the brownstone Roberts Opera House building. A sign reads: "[Ope]ra House." Iron or steel beams are visible at the right. Rubble is on the sidewalk near a fire hydrant and on the street. The commercial buildings at left and right have awnings. A sign on the store on the right reads: "E. Schall [& Co.]" A woman in a striped blouse and long skirt crosses the street at the left.
