DescriptionFour men, all wearing aprons stand in the doorway of a store with large plate glass windows in a brick commercial building. Signs on the building and on the striped awning read: "139 - D.W. Tracy - 139" and "139 - D.W. Tracy, Druggist - 139." Signs beneath the windows read: "D.W. Tracy - Apothecary." Merchandise in the windows includes: "Liebic / extract of meat," "Licorice" "Platt's / Chlorides / Disinfectant" "Humphrey's / Veterinary / Specifics." Electric light bulbs with shades hang from cords in the windows. The lamp at the right may be a gas light. A sign at far right reads: "Dr. Kane / Physician / and / Surgeon."
