DescriptionStore in a brick commercial building, possibly with residential apartments above. Signs on the building and awnings read: "C.A. Pease & Co." "Flour Grain / Baled Hay / and / Straw." Merchandise is displayed in the shop windows. A sign on the door at the right reads: "Crystal / Hall." An electric [?] light is above the door. The business at the left is a fish market. It has signs that read: "O[B]ros. / [Sea F]ood" "Scallops" "Sanitary / [Fish] / Market." A scale and a trashcan are on the sidewalk beside a street light. Street signs on the pole read: "Main St." "Sheldon St." The street appears to be paved and a drain in the curb appears to lead to a sewer beneath.
NotesSubject Note: John Moore and James Moore were the partners in Moore Brothers Fish Market. Charles A. Pease and William C. Pease were the partners in C.A. Pease & Co., dealers in flour, grain and feed at 462 Main Street.
