DescriptionMen, all wearing suits, sit at desks piled with papers. Most men have beards or mustaches and are reading or writing. Bookcases, some with glass doors line the walls. A clock is on the wall at the left. A mirror is above a shelf at the right. A light fixture, evidently a gaslight fixture converted for electricity with electric light bulbs and shades hangs from the ceiling. Another electric light hangs from a wire.
