DescriptionInterior of yard goods department. Rolls and bolts of fabric are arranged on shelves and tables. Seven men stand beside the table or sit on stools. Some have mustaches. Some wear bow ties. One man has a beard and wears a small black cap, possibly a yarmulke. A light fixture hangs from the ceiling, apparently a gas fixture converted to electricity. It is equipped with electric light bulbs with shades.
