NotesSubject Note: The Amos Bull house, constructed in 1788, now (2001) houses the Connecticut Historical Commission. Amos Bull, the first owner, sold dry goods on the ground floor and conducted a school in the house before selling it in 1841. John C. McManus established his business on Main Street, Hartford in 1869. The address appears as 344-350 Main Street at various times.Status
