DescriptionTwo men stand on the sidewalk in front of a storefront. Both have mustaches. A sign on the building reads: "Hartford Mourning Goods S[tore] / 23 - Weeks Bros. - 23." A hanging sign reads: "Black / Dress Goods / A Specialty" "A.P. Weeks - 23." Clothing is displayed in the shop windows. Two boys stand in the doorway at the far right. A sign over the door reads: "Evening / Post."
NotesSubject Note: Albert P. Weeks and James L. Weeks were the partners in Weeks Brothers, 23 Asylum Street, Hartford. The Hartford Evening Post had its offices at 25 Asylum Street.
