Signs on the striped awning read: "Choice Meats" "Phila. Poultry." Two small girls with ribbons in their hair stand on the sidewalk.
NotesSubject Note: The photograph was probably not taken in Hartford and possibly not in Connecticut. The 1900 Federal Census lists Gruenfelds living in New York City and Chicago, but not in Connecticut.
