DescriptionTwo men pose on a loading dock in front of a store in a frame commercial building. The older man wears a suit, vest and derby hat and holds a cigar. The younger man wears a cap and jacket. Signs read: "A.S. Bailey" "East Hartford Cash Store. / Flour, Grain, Feed, etc." "Flour" A bale of hay, a barrel and sacks are on the dock. Some sacks read: "East Hartford, Conn." The wooden post with a rope through it may be a hitching post. The doorway at the right, which is painted in contrasting colors, has a porch roof with prominent moldings, supported by brackets. Snow is on the ground in the left background and right foreground.
