DescriptionLight green wool ankle-height boots, with side lacing. A narrow, black patent leather fox appears at the heel. The toes are a rounded square and the stacked heel is low (the heel is missing from boot ".b"). The side openings are slit into the fabric and bound with green silk tape. The lacing is backed with a square tongue, which is tacked in place at the top. The laces are green silk cord with brass tips. A gusset is inserted into the center back seam. The uppers are lined with plain-woven linen or glazed cotton. The sock lining is twill-woven cotton. The heels are pegged and the soles are straight.
