DescriptionView looking north on Main Street. New trolley tracks are being constructed in the middle of the street. Horse-drawn carriages are at the side of the road. Pedestrians are on the sidewalks. At the right is the corner of Arch Street. An advertisement for Ropkins & Co. is on the side of a building. At the corner is the saloon of J.H. McKernan. The large building farther up the street on the right is the Aetna Life Insurance Company. The steeple on the left is the Center Congregational Church.
