DescriptionWorkmen pose on and around a wooden crane erected on scaffolding at the south end of the Laurel Street Bridge across the Park River. Ropes and pulleys are attached to the crane. Piles of stones are in the foreground. Piles of logs are in the background. Some portions of the bridge are iron. On the far side of the bridge, three-story houses line Laurel Street and Willow Street. Posters line the approach to the bridge. These include: "Do / you / know / Uneeda" "Cures / Indigestion" "Frank Jones / Ales."
