DescriptionBeneath a tent evergreen and other trees in tubs are display. Most have [price?] tags on them. Two men in suits and hats look at deciduous shrubs at the right. A sign reads: "Scott's / Nurseri[es]." In the background, in the interior of the tent, women and a small child look at cut flowers displayed in glass milk bottles on long tables covered with white cloths. A building with a tower is in the left background. This building and the tent have been retouched to heighten contrast.
NotesSubject Note: Charter Oak Park was located on the west side of Prospect Avenue in West Hartford, just across the Hartford city line. Scott's Nurseries, James W. Scott, proprietor, was located at 514 Blue Hills Avenue, on the corner of Tower Street.
