DescriptionMen in suits and women in large hats stroll along a boardwalk past stands with striped canvas awnings. Signs read: "German Lover / Ciga[rs]" "Any Article / For Sale." Papers litter the ground. A man seated on the right appears to be reading a newspaper. A building in the background has a tower with a pointed roof. American flags fly from it. Inscribed on back: "Conn. Fair / Sept. 1911 / Courant."
NotesSubject Note: Charter Oak Park was located on the west side of Prospect Avenue in West Hartford, just across the Hartford city line.
