DescriptionTwo men ride in an automobile driven by men in a seat above them. The street is lined with men, women, boys and girls. Policemen in uniform ride bicycles beside the car. Other men are on horseback.
NotesSubject Note: The police are riding Columbia Chainless Bicycles, manufactured by the Pope Manufacturing Company. The electric automobile was manufactured by the Electric Vehicle Company, 1 Laurel Street, Hartford. Dr. Joseph E. Root's offices were at 67 Pearl Street, Hartford. He resided at 71 Pearl Street.
