DescriptionGeneral view of construction site. The back of the original Morgan Memorial building, erected in 1910, is in the background, with buildings on the west side of Main Street visible beyond it on the left. One tower of the Wadsworth Atheneum is at the far right. A large crane is in the foreground and other cranes are at left. Bricklayers, most wearing overalls, are at work. One man carries a hod, another carries a shovel. Some stand on wooden scaffolding.
