Description18th-century gravestones, partially overgrown with grass and weeds, in a graveyard surrounded by picket and trelliswork fences. An arbor and a house with a mansard roof are in the background. Stones are inscribed: "In memory of / Anne, Relict of / Pygan Adams / who departed this [life] / Jany 8th 1809 / in the 84th year / of her age" "In memory of / Pygan Adams Esq. / who died July 1776 / Aged 64" "In memory of / Rev. William Adams / who died / Sep. 25 1798 / in the 88, year / of his age." Eliphalet Adams's gravestone may be one of the illegible stones in the foreground.
