DescriptionScreen print of a drawing of the building at 21 Charter Oak Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut, that houses the Charter Oak Cultural Center, but was built as Temple Beth Israel. The Romanesque Revival-style building features two domed towers, arched windows, and fanlights over the double front doors, and a low wrought iron fence around it. Ivy is shown covering the left side of the building, part of the front, and part of the tower on the left. Two automobiles are parked next to the sidewalk, and two pedestrians are shown on the right. Other buildings are next to and behind the building.
