From left to right, the buildings depicted include the Colt Armory with its onion dome, Bushnell Tower, City Place, Travelers Tower, One Financial Plaza, Connecticut National Bank, the Old State House, State House Square and in front of it the buildings of Constitution Plaza, One State Street, and the Connecticut River Plaza buildings. In the midground in the center of the drawing is the trapezoidal Connecticut Natural Gas building. Interstate 91 is visible on the left side of the drawing.
