DescriptionFour small girls wearing hats and short dresses wade in a tidal creek or salt marsh. A mudflat is in the left foreground. Salt marsh hay grows in the background. The buildings of a town and, possibly, the masts of at least two sailing vessels, are visible beyond the marsh.
