NotesSubject Note: Florence Sidette Marcy Crofut was born on 28 May 1875. She graduated from Danielson High School (now Killingly) in 1893; she was the class valedictorian. She also graduated from Wellesley College, class of 1897, where she earned a master's degree in philosophy and German. She lived most of her later life in Hartford, where In 1938 she was honored with an M.A. degree from Trinity College.Status
