DescriptionFour yoked oxen pull a wagon loaded with logs down a slope. A man who appears to be reading a book stands behind the wagon. A boy with a switch walks beside it. A third man is in front of the team. On the right are piles of logs, some apparently split by machine. A barrel lies beside the dirt road in the foreground. The trees on the left may be fruit trees, possibly apple trees.
