DescriptionThree bicycle-wheel sulkies drawn by trotting horses on a dirt track. The forequarters of a fourth horse are visible at lower left. In the background, beyond a picket fence, a crowd of spectators surrounds the lower story of a grandstand or reviewing stand. The white vertical line evidently indicates the position of the finish line.
