DescriptionMen at work in an industrial interior. All wear work clothes, some wear caps and aprons. Two men have mustaches. Most of the men work at wooden workbenches. Some appear to be holding automobile radiators. Pipes and lighting fixtures run along the ceiling. Machinery is at left and right. A barrel and an oilcan are also at the right.
NotesSubject Note: In 1892, the C.S. Mersick and Company, located at 286, 288, 290, 292 State Street, were manufacturers of general hardware and supplies for tinsmiths, plumbers, and blacksmiths. They were importers and dealers in iron, steel and metals.
