DescriptionGroup of men and women seated on the steps of a brick industrial building. The men wear suits and hold hats, the women wear long skirts and blouses. Some men have mustaches. Three additional men stand in the doorway. Ivy is growing on the building. A thin pipe extends down the side of the building to a basement window.
NotesSubject Note: The American Pin Co., which manufactured pins, hooks and eyes, and ornaments for small brassware, was founded in Waterbury in 1846. In 1894, the business moved to a large new factory in Waterville.
