DescriptionFour men wearing suspenders standing in industrial factory with timber joists. Gas fixture and fan on ceiling. At left is bench with machinery for making the scrub brushes that are in bins. At right a belt driven machine and table. A stack of scrub brushes is against back wall near a wire basket.
NotesSubject Note: In 1886, Standard Brush Co manufactured a variety of "solid back brushes" using palmetto fiber, bristles and tampico. In 1914 they were located off Bridge Street.
