DescriptionMan in mustache wearing suit sits in chair at rolltop desk full of business papers. Windows with shades on left. Several calendars, one is "1895" and pictures are on walls. Advertising includes, "Hartford Fire Ins. Co. Agent", "Queen Ins. Co. of America, New York", "Continental Fire Ins. Co.". A drawing of a commercial building is near the man.
NotesSubject Note: In 1886, Standard Brush Co manufactured a variety of "solid back brushes" using palmetto fibre, bristles and tampico. In 1914 they were located off Bridge Street.
