DescriptionParade float in front of brick industrial building with arched window recess and graduated brick coursing. Man wearing uniform cap driving a decorated flatbed wagon drawn by horses. Float design is sign with giant typewriter mechanical parts, small American flags and paper flowers which says, "The Type Bar that revolutionized Writing Machine Construction. Visible Writing." There are three different typewriters on the display. There is a stack of wooden crates at the left. Inscription on back: "1900-1906"
NotesSubject Note: Located at 581 Capitol Avenue, incorporated in 1898 with John T. Underwood, President and Director. Advertised as "The largest typewriter factory in the world". International typewriter sales.
