DescriptionWomen and a few men wait in line behind a rope supported by iron stanchions. All of the women wear large hats, one with a white feather. Several have suitcases. An open trolley car in the background has a sign that reads: "New Britain." Inscribed on back: "State Street Isle of / Safety, opened / July 24, 1912 / Courant."
