DescriptionMan in boots, heavy jacket, and cap stoops beside the wheel of a horse-drawn wagon loaded with sacks of coal. A sign on the front of the wagon reads "City Co[al]" The street is muddy and deeply rutted. Granite [?] curbstones lie in the foreground. A boy in work clothes stands on the porch of a frame house in the right background. Other buildings, probably multiple-family dwellings, are in the left background, with laundry hanging from clotheslines.
