DescriptionYoung man in suit, vest and cap, holding a basket, stands beside a delivery wagon drawn by a horse. Signs on the side of the wagon read: "Charter Oak / Bakery / M. Dobmeier / 121 Front St." "Cakes & Pies" "Home Made Bread." Most of the brick buildings in the background appear to be residential, but a small one-room [?] shop directly behind the cart has a hanging sign that reads: "J. Forestiere / [Made] to Order.."
NotesSubject Note: Michael Dobmeier is listed as a baker at 121 Front St. in Hartford city directories for 1896 and 1897.
