DescriptionTwo men stand in the back of an open flatbed truck. One man holds tongs and is about to lift a block of ice. A sign on the side of the truck reads: "The Hartford / Spring Brook / Ice Co. / Supply Auto." The men appear to be transferring ice to a covered wagon drawn by two horses. A sign on the side of the wagon reads: "Hygeia Ice." In the background are two houses with porches, possible multiple-family residences. A privet hedge is in the foreground.
