DescriptionPort side view of the tugboat A.M. Smith towing a coal barge during spring freshet. Four men are on the boat. Another tug is on the starboard side of the barge. There are two pilings in the foreground and leafless trees and houses in the background. There is ice on the river, which is abnormally high.
