DescriptionYoung man and boy seated in the cab of an electric truck. A sign on the side of the truck reads "W.F. Griswold / Rocky Hill." There is a picture of a milk bottle on the side of the cab. A real milk bottle and two milk cans are visible in the back of the truck. The truck is parked on a Hartford street, possibly in the Front Street area. The building in the center background with striped awnings has a sign over the door that reads "Ales" and is probably a bar. The building to its right, no. 543, is "To Rent." A sign on the commercial building on the street in the left background reads: "New England" A street light is nearby.
NotesConstituent Note: William J. Johnson was the auto editor at the Hartford Times and lived in East Berlin, Connecticut.
