DescriptionWhole-foxed, front-lacing women's boots, with narrow pointed toes and high Louis heel. The foxing is brown, and the top is light beige. The lacing is cream-colored cotton with steel tips, laced through 18 pairs of eyelets, backed by a beige leather tongue. The boots are lined in white twill-woven cotton. The soles are continuous and made for right and left feet. A metal disk is inserted above the top piece of the heel.
NotesHistorical Note: Miss Mary MacD. Welling (Mrs. F. W. Gowdy) purchased and wore these boots in New Jersey in 1914.
