DescriptionScreen print of the front of the State Library in Hartford, Connecticut, from the street. The names of the building's three divisions (the State Library, Memorial Hall, and the state Supreme Court) are inscribed over the columns of the portico, and above this are the words "Knowledge," "History," and "Justice." Statues flank these words. There are people sitting on the bench in front of the building and climbing the stairs to the front entrance.
