DescriptionPortions of one or more automobiles are scattered about the intersection of two streets. Two policemen stand behind the frame of the vehicle on the left and groups of men look on from the left and right. A horse and buggy, blurred from movement, are in the background. Street signs on the telephone pole in the foreground read: "Union" and "Carlisle." There is a pulley on the pole below the signs. Inscribed on back: "1906 Packard" "Fatal auto accident / New Haven, 1911, Spring."
