DescriptionCorner of Market Street and Talcott Street after a collision between a Ford sedan and a fire truck. The car, with front tires bent, is against the Talcott St. Congregational Church. The fire truck, seen from the rear, is in the middle of the street. Trolley tracks run down the middle of the street and trolley wires run overhead. A large crowd of spectators lines both sides of the street. A sign on the the building in the background reads: "[Th]e Hartford ProducÂ…" Typewritten note on back reads: "Squad A. Pope-Hartford hose car and Ford Sedan in fatal collision at Market and Talcott StreetsÂ….1 occupant killed, 2 hurt. View north on Market Street. November 19, 1923."
